Internal Bore Laser Cladding Machine
- For repair or protective cladding on internal surfaces.
- Bore diameter, depth, entry, visibility, and cooling are reviewed before configuration.
- A dedicated internal-bore head and feed arrangement are matched to your part.
- Final feasibility is confirmed through engineering review and, when needed, sample testing.
Internal Bore Laser Cladding Machine Applications
These laser cladding applications focus on internal surfaces. Review hydraulic cylinder bores, sleeve IDs, tube IDs, and similar geometries by bore profile, entry access, depth, cooling, and inspection needs.

Feasibility depends on bore diameter, depth, entry opening, shoulders, line of sight, head clearance, feed path, cooling, substrate, and post-processing access. Please provide a section drawing with the worn zone and target layer so the internal route can be reviewed.
No universal deep-bore limit should be assumed. A dedicated bore head, available entry space, clearance, heat management, and process validation determine whether a specific bore is practical; the bore drawing and depth are required for assessment.
The head is matched to the bore geometry, opening, depth, target coverage, feedstock, shielding, cooling, and inspection access. Please send the bore dimensions, entry constraints, material, and area to be clad before a head configuration is recommended.
Heat management is reviewed together with the head design, process heat input, part material, shielding gas, cooling method, and extraction or ventilation conditions. The operating environment and acceptance method should be defined before testing.
The inspection method depends on bore geometry and the agreed acceptance criteria. Dimensional measurement, visual or surface inspection, and other available methods may be considered; please provide the required bore tolerance and inspection standard.
The dedicated bore head, feed system, cooling, support, measurement, safety, sample testing, and service scope all affect the quotation and schedule. Price and delivery are confirmed after the bore drawing, process route, and acceptance requirements are reviewed.
